Why is Strange Music failing at promoting Kutt Calhoun & Skatter and Snug?

Glen is right.....taking pictures....while sounds silly....is a good way to show Strange Music that you are actually doing something with the product that you are given. While we all laugh each time Glen posts a picture of some random porn actress or wrestler holding up a sampler or poster....but that's the kind of proof SM wants when you're on your own and doing shit.

Strange is doing a fair job at promoting snug skat and kutt, for real tho u cant expect all of them to blow up at once...and right now in my opinion strange is doing the correct thing in promoting the fuck out of everready, and in doing so, making sure tech will finally blow up to where he should be, then after he gets his recognition, snug and skat can follow up on their first album, then kutty will do the same...a lot like when nelly got big, he brought the st. lunatics with him, eminem brought up d12, and so on...they'll all blow up, its only a matter of time...

IMO, eveready hasn't been promoted at all hardly. We have heard jelly sickle and heard very little on the rest. That shit is still on the hush. I'm really not understanding how shitty ass rappers get there shit heard and these guys don't, that is my main point. Strange music has to take some of the blame on the whole process taking so long. Timing has to be one of the key elements and I think they could have made AP alot bigger than it was. I think skatterman and snug brim, and kutt should not have to put out an album and wait a couple years for tech to get big for people to hear an album of theirs that is a few years old.

Seriously, what are the soundscan numbers? I bet these albums ain't pulled in over 5,000 sales. Which is sickening when there is garbage all over the shelves full of filler tracks.

understood, i see ur point, but still, everready is gettin promoted at all of the shows, he's played "y'all cant fuck with us," "my wife my bitch my girl," which by the way blew my fucking mind...and now he's let "jellysickle" leak...thats all the promotion i honestly want, and yea im dying to hear the album 2, but i love gettin a shit load of new tech n9ne tracks all at once, rather then having to skip over the ones ive already heard...4 example when BLEVE came out i kept skippin over "Nationality (parlee` remix)" because by the time the album finally came out id already bumped that song more then enough on the sampler i got from the tour...i dunno maybe its just my personal opinion, but any way u look at it, its gonna be damn near impossible for tech not to explode worldwide after this album comes out

I agree both acts are veary talented in their own right. I will tell you a trick S&S used in their sampler they included the release date a good 30 times you best belive nobody was gona forget that shit. PDM isn't getting a bigger push all he had that kutt and S&S didn't were stickers. If you visit Minneapolis those bastards are standing strong on every street sign (props to Twiztidmn on that). Tech's last MN show it is obvious shit is gona blow for ER and he only had a little radio push on that. I was dissapointed no1 from strange played a set besides Tech. It was jampacked and I think it would have done the label alot of good, but people are at different points like PDM his website hasn't been updated in a long ass time and last I heard he was chillin at the twiztid instore a few days ago. I mean the artists who need to blow up are gona in due time. I mean all the artist put alot of heart into what they do love or hate any of them every 1 from prozak to kutt their entire heart is in this. Strange has a big year left ER, Funkra, Kutt's mix tape, who knows about S&S and PDM.
