Good Question

My thoughts on myspace is just like anything else, it is currently a fad. I got a lot of homies who use myspace to get females. I really don't understand why musicians use it because there are way better sites to promote music. I personally use www.4fame.com they have a radio station that automatically comes on and will play music from the artists who are signed up.

I remember I met these females on there that stayed close to me. Mayne me and my nigga Dane from Beast Mode Records went over there and fucked the dog shit outta them. Those ladies was playing real fair.

It makes them feel like they are someone.
It is an attention grabber.

Answering why it's popular, not saying everyone on Myspace is like that but I would say the majority do it for that reason.

I am one of the last remaining non-myspacers. A dying breed.

Myspace is so overrated, almost everyone who at least has a computer uses it very constantly. I had a myspace account & I used to go to the music section but in my opinion, its nothing like the siccness because the siccness kicks ass all day while myspace is like a cyber-high school cuz it reminds me of high school... Its mostly teenagers & college freshmen/sophomores that post there......

Its free its user friendly its ubercustomizable...everyone has can use it in their own lil applications... vanity chatting networking pickin up hoes pen palls...chatrooms its soo adaptable for anyones needs thats why.
I dont aint straight promoting it or nothing those are just the reasons i could see .I think its coo.
I use it instead of email for my friends and fam so I can share pics and just hit uhm up real quick

ubercustomizable, is that a myspace word??? lol, i had a myspace to upload music to n songs, but that shit always went on timeouts, so i quit it. N plus, i dunno for some reason, most of the times the songs wont even play for anyone im tryn to listen to.

for me, im in a different town than i grew up in right now. i use myspace to talk to all the folks i haven't seen in years, u can see pics of their kids n shit, see how they're doin. i don't use that shit as a dating service...i just keep in touch with motherfuckers i haven't seen in a few years feel me???

my #1 reason that no one has ever questioned or tried to say it was not useful is that:

ive found maybe 20-30 of my old school homies from back in the day when i was growing up that id NEVER see again otherwise, and wouldnt be able to find them any other way even though i tried hunting down a couple of 'em.

its worth it to me to keep in touch with people that i otherwise dont talk to because i sit on my ass too much these days.
