unless youre promoting something, what the fuck is the point of myspace? i honestly dont get it. you put pictures of yourself and say look at me and and talk about the shit you like. whats interesting about that? if youre not promoting music, or youre not using it as a dating service, what do you do and why is everyone so obesessed with that shit? someone please explain

i have one, but im honestly bored by it...its a way for people to make themselves feel important and interesting and then brag about themselves and show it to other people. i swear to god it just makes people feel as if everything they do is so fucking important and so cool and different than everyone else.
heres 1 reason why I think it is so popular..
basically 80-90% of females either
(A) love making scrap books, saving shit
(B) love takin pics and keeping photo albums
so myspace is a virtaul scrapbook/photo album for chicks to fuck with..
you go on to look at a chicks myspace and its like a motherfuckin slide show of pics, and its usually 20 pics all taken from the same night, probably the same 1/2 hour..I'm jus glad I'm long gone from high school cus if I was goin to high school when myspace came out I'd be losin my mind hearing these boppy bitches talkin bout it all day..
also while I'm on the subject I'd like to mention to all those guys who have a myspace site and their profiel pic is like a shot of their abs or sumthin like that, jus go remove your ribs bend down and blow your cock lready would you..you god damn panzy..
I use myspace to let my friends hear some music I make, but other thqa that you'll never catch me with a blog, never catch me with slideshow reels of my night partyin, nothin like that. and those who do do that, guys...gorw a pair, girls... get over yourselves

the sad part is, youd think it be something that only girls would be so obsessed with, but guys apparently are all about it too.
the other sad thing is that shit doesnt end in highschool. im taking some spss computer class, and these are all juniors and seniors at a university, and im not exagerating everyone around me, guys and girls, was on fucking myspace. just looking at pictures and shit. call me weird, but id just rather kill time in other insignificant ways

Myspace is popular for the same reason the mall is popular... you can get a lot of there, and possibly meet a spouse to blow your balls. I know some peopel who've actually located their babies daddies on there and hit em for Child support. Long lost loves have reunited, and all kinds of "find who you are looking for" type of shit.

yea i signed up 4 that shit after talkin hella shit about it n fucced wit it, searched up a buncha folkz i ain't seen in hella long or lost contact wit somehow n these people are up on there n i juss kept on findin old folkz n people i never thought i'd talk to again cuz i lost their number.. so in tha long run it ended up bein a plus, i'm down wit myspace!

I finally just started a myspace account about 2 weeks ago. It's alright. I have been able to get in touch with some friends from back in the day that moved away or dissappered. That's about it for me.
The thing I use most for myspace is their music search function. There are alot of really good artist both rap and rock wise that got sites on there.
