Big L is a legend because he's an underground artist who got all sorts of love from the mainstream. Not to mention that he would shit down Pac and Biggie's neck in a battle. Quit dick riding the overrated and open your eyes, Big L is the G.O.A.T
Thank u for that comment

If somebody killed Eminem right now just before his new album drops he will be bigger than both Pac and Big, he will become like James Dean or Marilyn Monroe.

The person who kills him will also go down in the history books

Anybody up for it?

Hes a legend because he carried the whole burough of Brooklyn on his back and they all suported him.. peep the funeral footage. He was a dope rapper.. IMO, he wasnt the best ever, but at that time rap was all about Big and Pac. The whole situation with East West is what made him. He was ill, people cant knock that. And people could relate to him cuz he was a fat ass ugly mufucka! And Big L was sick too, but he wasnt mainstream like BIG was... kids in Kentucky or boondock wherever most likely didnt know about BIG L... but Biggie was in the public eye.

I been askin this question for a while now. Wheneva I have a discussion about rap with people and I mention Big L was one of the greatest of all time, they tell me that he didnt do enough or he didnt drop enough albums to do considered one of the greatest. Biggie aint as great as people make him out to be. People say that Biggie is the best rapper ever outta NY, but I think Big L got that title.

I agree because if we look at the facts Big L also dropped two solo albums and imo he had better lyrics than big. But Big is considered a legend for more than his music he had a rep in the streets that don't get talked about alot.

2pac is a legend for having one good album(all eyez on me) and one legendary album (makaveli), and one big mouth...everything else hes put out is horrendous, especially before he got w deathrow...you listen to some of those underground makaveli albums (take your pick, 1 through 50) and youll understand why his mom changed up his beats, they sucked hard...i never understood the obsession with either one of them.

In my eyes I don't see him as being a legend. I thought he was a talented lyricist (in the top 5) with some pretty nice tracks and a really hott flow but to call him a legend......well iono? I like Biggie and some of his trackz just as much as a lot of people do but Pac touched people and Biggie just had a nice flow which in my eyes doesn't qualify you as being a legend. If that was the case then I guess we should be calling a lot of these lyricist legends such as Jay, Em & Nas and like I said I just don't think that qualifies you.

well he did die before he got to make more. isn't he considered a legend cause of his "lyrical" ability and when he came into the scene, he just made hardcore east shit big and popular like no one else has before?

I WENT TO THE HOOD & ASKED NIGGAS IF THEY WAS FEELIN BIG, THEY WAS LIKE

pay attention. A:pac and big l were way better, B: biggie is a legend cause there are hardly any good mc's from the east, when east finds a good artist they diccryde. and some dumbass said in the first page " If they were still alive they would need to step up their game to compete with artists nowadays like Jay z, Nas, Em....." fucc that, nas is close to their level but jayz and em are not even in the ball park, if anyone would compete with pac it would be x raided or tre 8 or p folks, those niggas have hella talent.

if he died, if he didn't die, whatever........we are so bias cuz Pac was from the west. people from the east coast embrassed biggie as we do pac. there is no way u can not say that Ready to Die was not a bangin album. shit is just like Pac's shit. u can still play that shit today and it dosen't sound old. that's what makes them legends. they were both ahead of their time. to me, Ready To Die is one of the top 10 albums EVER. same with All Eyez on Me. i really never could get into Big L cuz i couldn't really stand his voice. i tried and tried to listen, but couldn't get past that. also everything i heard from him sounded HELLA old and dated, i know he died young, but still. to each his own.......
