^I've heard all of them played on KMEL. Big Rich was just on with Von doing an in house interview last week. Quinn & Jack had their albums featured on KMEL. Shit KMEL played the shit out of "Doin Dat" by Carson and I heard "Put Me On" before.

the corporate hand cuffs leave big von and company little room to do anything other than be the scape goats. although i feel they could do more, it definitely isnt a job that i would want.

im sure that if we make better music as a region, we would find better results from the corporate world.

also, a little food for thought. most of you couldnt sell out a burger king lobby, let alone a club or an arena. why would a multi billion dollar business allow some random humans to come in and get rich? if you cant even get popular, how in the world do you expect to become famous?

If your song is hot, you'll get on the radio ... D-Lo is a perfect example.

Unfortunately, 95% of the bay area artist who get on the radio don't do anything to capitalize off having a local hit, a lot of them just want to be on the radio and then they think they've made it.

A lot of the artists and songs yall be on here cryin about, aren't even worthy! Half of them had their shots already and blew every one of them.

True. the bay has to attract other business to our hip hop venues. nobody is touching hyphe or that super no name rap acts from the turff why? no money just a bunch of broke as kids shutin the club down. we need to make radio banger and still keep it bay and have good venues with these promoters. thats how u get money, if you can bring a "good" crowd in meaning lots of ladies and no sausage fest u will make money. look at the ATL and now MIAMI, we cant be scared to cross ova. I kno one cat thats bout to come out, thats bout to take this Bay music shit to the next level.
