I do believe he's built upon the hyphy trend but so has every other rapper out here in the bay.

u know 40 played pop warner and was the kid who kept a cheeseburger in his helmet. And one in his gym bag. I remember reading an old Suge Knight interview where he was asked the first thing he did when he got out of prison. he said something like, "I hit Fatburger up. I get (then whatever assortment of condiments) but no onions. Cuz im gonna be around hoes later, don't want my breath stinkin."
