Its a lot easier to talk shit about a certain platinum selling artists because of this so called "maintstream image" than it is to keep following "name your rapper" and give them their respect as an artist. A lot of valid points were made. I personally dont mind mainstream platinum sound because i dont hear it on the daily basis as the same with underground music now a days. Music groups such as this one says its okay to listen to nothin but underground and dont support or listen to mainstream because its not cool. Someone will do some heavy reasearch to pull out some excuse to bash out the more successful artists. Maybe some just get tired cause their music is bein played in every radio station or their faces are on tv everytime they turn it on. With a lot of disses being thrown out since the days of pac people favor one from another because war sells and peace doesnt. I like music period. A maintstream site, may have the same hatred towards an underground site such as the siccness, for the same reasons. One can speak bad on rappers that only speak on street smarts violence drugs etc. and talk down on how all these underground artists are saturating the market such as mainstream. Most of the kids here are young so they are easily influences because such and such says mainstream sucks and a favorite artists says such n such sucks and dont support bullshit. I mightve inverted some of your thoughts as im sitting here rambling about my thoughts.

I think on The Siccness it's just about people backing their favorite artists. People are quick to take sides and that's perfectly fine because we're all a little like that. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion about an artist....that's all it is is an opinion. if that particular artist wasn't as good as some people say then they wouldn't be selling records like they are. Its obvious people are feeling their music even if it's not you.

Exactly. If you dont like an underground person's music, they respect it as being an opinion. But if u dont like a mainstream artist music, then youre hating on their success. Its called opinion and preference, which everyone is allowed to have without being a hater.
