why do Bay artist neva perform in L.A ?

damn im a big bay fan, and what upsets me is that i neva get to see the bay videos, attend to bay shows (due to distance), and the sad part is that the only way i get to see the artist are in the album covers.. in hollywood theres couple of places, cats like alkaholiks, dj quik, krs one, insane clown posse (etc.) perform in small clubs.. digital underground and too short are going to have shows next week, and i would love see bay artist come down south to perform for us L.A peepz.. L.A got love for the Bay..

well from what i noticed, very few places ever ask to book bay artist in l.a..... and i have also noticed, we dont get alot of respect out that way.... words from some hard core l.a. cats is, they dont feel our bay rap... im sure that aint everyone, but thats just shit i been hearin the last couple years...

well, I live in the bay, and I never get to see the bay videos too. the only bay videos we see are the ones on bet which is like 1 a month, lol. cmc plays them once in a blue moon and even then it is the same ones over and over. we really need a show that plays bay vids

Well speaking from the latin perspective...it's hard for us because of the whole history of thangs...you feel me? Even if you aren't directly involved in it...just being from the area you have a hard time being accepted in that area. Politics is a mothafucka for us latins in cali dealin with the state etc.
