simple question.....i know most of LA football fans are RAIDER fans (or jumpin on the SD bandwagon)....but why couldnt a team move to LA and "make it" as an organzation....imma younger football fan and didnt pay attention to football when the rams where there...

the LA basketball and baseball teams seem to thrive and do just fine......even there MLS team is pretty decent......

what is it about LA that makes it NOT a football community?

your telling me one of the worlds biggest citys doesnt have enough football fans to fill a stadium even when the team is on a "rebuilding" stage....its one of the biggest sports markets in the entire world!

they are building a SICK new nfl football stadium down there...i just dont see it just going to waste and only being used for the SB and maybe even the PROBOWL.....i think SD/JAX/MINNI all have chances of moving there...but will they be forced out like all other LA football teams have?

Easy...there is no SOLID fan base...any team starts losing in L.A., and the fans disappear. They can't get an expansion team cause they would lose for the first 5 years and there would really be no fans, and a team that moves here won't be that well accepted unless its the Chargers. And still, I don't see that workin. The NFL has been great since the Rams and Raiders left L.A. There's no need to have a team in L.A.

FYI, THE RAMS WERE ACTUALLY IN "O.C., ANAHEIM" BUT JUST LIKE THE
PUNK ASS ANGELS THEY WANNA CLAIM L.A.!!!
Everyone knows that the Rams played in Anaheim. But it really didn't matter what their name was, cause the only city on the West Coast that was getting put on the Super Bowl trophies was San Francisco.

Unless you're a Dodger or former LA Raider fan, who cares if the OC teams want to put LA in their name. It brings in more money from sponsors and let's your team spend a little more on the team...isn't that what a fan would want?

Raiders played in, i believe was the memorial stadium which could hold over 90 thousand fans at any given game so even selling 30k-40k still made it look like no one was there. Fans cant do nothing if the owners want to relocate to another city. I believe with the growth of NFL, LA will get a team soon....

IVE HEARD:
The reason there aren't any NFL teams there are because other organizations use it as a way to get what they want (ie New Stadiums).
They know it is a huge market and the easiest to get a team in so they all agree to not go there and use it as a threat to their current city.

There will definetly be some relocation strategy in the next few years in the NFL....Dood brought up a good point about keeping LA open to make it more competitive for the markets/teams that are having a tough time with their shares/profits....As long as there's that threat, that's incentive to keep the strategies fresh....IM wondering if the NFL will be in T.O in the next few years..It's shitty that it will probably be the Bills.....it'd be ill if we got Jacksonville on some double switch shit.....LA can have Buffalo, we'll take the Jags
