i don't know why folks on here are puttin down all these underground/indie names of people who haven't blown up outside of cali.... I reckon the KING OF THE WEST would have to be an artist that's totally recognized as a legitimate provider to this art of rap on different coasts other than just the west.... somethin that 2PAC was known for back in the days

If I had to put my money on a name, it'ld definately be Crooked I.

The only thing that might hold him back is his beats. Honestly man, I don't see Darren Vegas cuttin' it. He has some decent stuff here & there but he just doesn't have that FIRE Crooked I needs.
