for me i would have to go wiht j dilla and madlib they got some solid productions..and maybe to add another one on the list 9th wonder is a good producer 2...

P.s...Kanye is only a good producer way better than his rapping career

DJ Premier by far. Kanye makes more money; Madlib is the most prolific; Dilla is the most influential; Blaze was hot, then fizzled; RJD2 has some really trippy shit, i like it though; Doom has the best ear for looping samples out of everyone you mentioned; Black Milk and Jake One are dope but they have yet to create their own sound...they are good at sounding like people though. lol

^^these producer are all sample-based producers. timbaland is an amazing composer but as a sampler he's so-so. 9th wonder isn't on here becasue frankly, i dont think he's even in the same catergory as any of the mentioned producers. 9th is an amazing chop artist, but his drum game is lacking. he has produced some of my favorite beats ever though.

I can't decide between Dilla and RJD2. Dilla is my favorite producer of all time, the shit he did for Slum Village was bananas. Donuts was a masterpiece. RJ does things that no other producer does, though, and i respect him for that.

No love for YE huh? This man has many many hits and gems and he's does some stuff for artists who ain't got million dollar budgets as well.
