without taking this to a big religious debate (again)

Who can not wait to die? and why?

and

Who can wait to die?

For me, I love my life. I always tell people that I am to busy focusing on how to make myself a better person with my life now and my family, I do not concentrate on what will happen when I die. I still think I have a lot to do, mostly because I am only 26 years old with a young son. I can def wait till I take my last breathe.

I can wait, but I'm also interested in what'll happen once i'm dead, if anything.

I love living, but I've never been dead, so I guess I won't know until I'm there, if I even "know" anything when I'm dead.

I got a lot of shit to do before I die though...and I haven't even really started on my mission yet.

Ah

So, speaking of being on surgery while you slept, do you think it's safe to say like you've died before? Then, after surgery you're alive again. Or, when on surgery, it feels like you're dead? When they put you to sleep, or [the other term I forgot what is called], and you lose the touch of everything, especially the vision of nothing, etc. Know what I mean? But I could be wrong, the death experience could be different from surgery sleeping, though.

actually it is not feeling dead....because I did not feel anything. I was asleep.

Asleep does not equal dead.

I see your logic but it is not the same to me. I dont think anyone that has had surgery before can sit here and say its like being dead, because what is being dead like?

speaking of sugery, I am going friday to get my 4 wisdom teeth surgerically removed. So it will be my 2nd surgery....

Hmm, but if you are asleep naturally in bed, and something touches you, you become suspicious of it. That is of course also explains asleep does not equal death. I guess they have drugs that make you asleep in a different position.

Oh ya, g/l

had 1/3rd of my right lung removed when I was 9... my best friend died when I was 18. Later in my life had an out of body ex[erience that made me feel closer to death. I have a lot to do before I die, but it is a preoccupation of my thoughts as I'm trying to get to the point where I am comfortable with death.
