atheist HANDS DOWN. people without a belief in god tend to be a litttle more rational in my opinion. not that there arent rational christians or muslims, or irrational atheists. id just rather not have my child subjected to what i feel is dangerous to their well being.

athiest. well, I'd prefer an agnostic, but I'd rather have someone raise my son whos world outlook was due to life experiences, not a book.

can't answer this one.. their religion would be the furthest of my worriez, id be more concerned about their capability of taking care of my child because using religion as an all decideing factor is perpetuating blind arrogance in spite of blind faith.. :/

i kno what your saying but the poll just lists those who interpet religion literally or not at all as ur only road of deciding what kind of parents they'd make.. and by giving this poll answers that cover a real broad spectrum of people, u can only get answers that are based on stereotypical assumptions and does not take into consideration those who have the foundation to make a great family structure..

Exactly, the general perception in the GOM is that all Christian Fundamentals are the same, when it's not even close. There are major differences with the fundamentalists of Christianity. I chose Christian Fundamentalists because I believe if he grows up, he wound have already known the foundation of my faith. Call it brainwashing all you want, but the best thing that can come outta of him being raised by a Christian fundie is that he would already grow along side Jesus. The bad part of this is, that he may end up growing into the wrong Christian Fundie family. Well anyways, remember not all Christian fundies are the same. Peace

Too Vague of an answer? Well that's just my opinion, no need to argue.

i wouldnt want my kid raised by a fundamentalist christian because they breed wackos like jerry falwell and pat robertson, people who encourage violence against abortion clinics and personal rights.

nor would i want them raised by a fundamentalist muslim because they breed wackos like saddam hussein people who encourage suicide bombers to target innocent people.
