He's been on Tha Row since 98/99, before Doggystyle was even a label.
The album Daz is going to release was made in the "C-Style Presents the 19th Street Compilation" days.
Back when Daz and Kurupt were on Tha Row(then Death Row), they enticed him to sign, and then they jumped ship themselves.
While it's true that Crooked used to work with DPG/C-Style a great deal, he was never on the label...

proppa's story sounds reasonable because... why would Crooked I stay with a label everyone else has left unless he's really grateful about something the label has done for him?
Caput187um's story sounds right because... he remained while Kurupt and Daz left, and he did work on C-Style's compilation. But I don't think his relationship with Death Row goes back to '98 because he wasn't on Chronic 2000.
