I think this CD is a DAMP SQUID.

DO yall still bump that CD?

As surprising as it can sound I consider Montanas last MIXTAPE better than RAE last album.

Raekwons flow has always been the same...thats kinda boring.

the fuck is a damp squid?
LMAO

I think its british ive learnt that expression hella long time ago with my english teacher...

I found this:

Origin of the phrase "damp squib"

While most modern squibs used by professionals are insulated from moisture, older uninsulated squibs needed to be kept dry in order to ignite, so a "damp squib" was literally one that failed to perform because it got wet. The phrase "damp squib" has since come into general use to mean anything that fails to meet expectations.[7] The word "squib" has come to take on a similar meaning even when used alone, as a synonym for dud.[8]

i wont lie...i feel like obfcl2 met its expectations and in some ways, surpassed it.

i could quite well be biased, being a huge raekwon fan.

edit: and the fact raekwon never changed is what makes him my favorite. no one seemed to like immobilarity, and it sounded different, so i think he saw ghost having success doing his original style and a need for 'the old cuban linx" so rae ran with it. seems logical to me.

but i liked all his mixtapes too, i think thats part of rap now, like a mixtape might be better than an album. theres needs to be less emphasis on where you place your music now, no one buys albums anyway, so a mixtape is the same as an album....someone told me the other day that your music isnt the end of the road..if you make an album you can make another...you just use the album you made to take you where your going...so i think when someone has a real successful mixtape they feel in prime shape to drop an album..my bad just thinkin about the shit

I liked immobilarity and the vatican mixtape too but im definitly not feelin this one. Music is like colors or tastes, its hard to discuss about why we like green or yellow.

you guys acting like this album came right after immobilarity

what about the lex diamond theory

it's true it's not as important where you hear a song now

but it's better strategicly to have the bangers on the album but some cats do wreck their mixtapes and come ok on the album

Yeah I still bump this shit. Its pretty much the only rap cd I have actually bumped that has been released within the last few years with consistency. Now I don't think its anywhere close to OB4CL1 but it still has a few nice gems on it.

Raekwon is fucking boring right now

His flow and the beats he picks up are stuck in the mid-90s.

did you hear that French gangsta grillz tape?

I never liked french montana but since he totally stole max b style and swagger on teh new gangster griillz mixtape it made me like that release. but imo that raekwon not really all that tight after the 4th spin. I enjoyed the new esg, skyzoo, cory gunz, willie da kid, wildstyle, lil flip, dayton family albums way more then both fench & raekwon albums.
