Used to see him alot recently, ala Indian Casino here in Miami. (lived right down the street from him) in Miami. He's still living and performing shows down here in South Florida. Alot of people dont know that he wrote alot of hits back in the 70's for Betty Wright "Clean up Woman," and alot of other artists I cant name because of bad memory. Ole Dude was smart when it came to permanently pinning his name to shit. Folks tell me he just lives off royalty checks. His albums do real good overseas, but it's he's writing and producing skills that made the bread (bay artists take notice).
