As far as ported vs. sealed, from what I've heard... it all depends on the type of subs you want to put in the box. There are type of subs that hit harder in a ported box.. and there are subs that hit harder in a sealed box.

In general a ported box will give off a more low fequency base.

A sealed box will not hit as hard but the SQ will be cleaner.

What type of subs are you getting ?

i fuck with nothing but kicker now.. i have a 10" kicker sealed right now.. 900 watts peak.. and that shit hits for what it is.. but im upgrading to a 15" kicker the new 2006 model.

2000 watts peak. 4 ohm or 2ohm.. not sure which ones better.

personally I think dual 4ohms is pretty much the way too go. Then you can wire them in parallel and make them a 1ohm load to the amp. This way you can get a mono block amp supporting one ohm. I agree with 5ive1en its all about preference. SQ you would want to wire them to 4ohm to the amp. They would sound cleaner. 1ohm to the amp they will hit harder but not as clean.
