i wanna know what the mass of mothafuckaz in here think about who is the next to make big moves or just flat out blow the fuck up nationwide status like e-feezy fonzareezy.

san quinn - because he's bringin nothin but heat, he's gettin good production, radio play, being backed up by j.r. rider on " i give u my word", gettin his shit played on 2 tv shows, good guest appearences on his next album and he's been at it for 10 strong years never putting out a weak album.

messy marv - the nigga don't give a fuck and will be callin out names on his next cd to drop "disobayish". he's gonna cause a buzz in the industry.

cellski - radio play now, beats, connections with big time artists, he promotes himself at every event. he's been at it for a while too, gettin himself on big dj mixtapes and possibly even video games. he's ready.

jt - if his next album lives up to the hype he's giving it who knows.

yukmouth - he's known already, and one word "godzilla" his next album , know about it bitch.

ea-ski - radio play, callin out names like messy will only cause his name to get out there, he's been at it longer than most mothafuckaz and is one of the best producers in the game ya dig. that nigga produced everyone's shit including naughty by nature hit "feel me flow" ya know ya like that beat.

b-legit - that's only if u don't think he's major already.

locksmith and balance - making a name for theyselves nationwide now.

mob figaz - one of those niggaz could do something. but they don't have as good as a chance as the niggas i mentioned before.

the bay is back quit hatin!!!!

young moe: fuck u nigga don't ever send me any shit like that.

game warden: my bad, i was speakin on sticky green, i typed that shit when i was perved ya dig.

did i miss anyone??

What a surprise this cat didn't put that character A-WAX on his list, another person that doesn't think that guy will amount to anything.

Instead of remaining reliant or hopeful that one human is going to be the answer to the rejuvenation of the Bay Area, it'd be even more worthwhile to see a collective effort of multiple Bay artists do it jointly with more fan support. Let the truth be told, unless Bay musicians start manufacturing more "radio-friendly" compositions you can forget about it altogether.

Out On Bail S.F.C.--here's my opinions on your choices:

Quinn--Yup! Not only might Quinn blow up, but Done Deal in
general could blow up, too--they haven't dropped any less-than-excellent projects and Fully Loaded, Submarine Funk and the F.F.S.C. are all talented, charismatic performers (not to mention the smooth Willie Hen).

Messy Marv--If he's promoted right, definitely! His last two solo CDs were dope, and he's charismatic and would be great in interviews, promotions, etc.

Cellski and E-A-SKi--they're consistent and work hard, but whether they blow up per se, I don't know (although Ski could become a major producer for others again, even if he doesn't blow up as a rapper). Cellski may be more of a longshot, but who knows...

JT The Bigga Figga--IF he keeps putting out CDs of the same quality of PROJECT POETRY and Game Inflikted, he could do big things (as could The Gamblaz). Figgaro could also be instrumental behind the scenes, since he's working with Select-O-Hits to get better distribution for Bay artists.

Yukmouth--could do big things (again)--IF he sticks to the style he displayed on UNITED GHETTOS OF AMERICA CD.

Locksmith and Balance could make it if they keep improving (I'd like to hear more from both of them, though). From The Mobb Figaz, Jacka has the best chance of blowing up (although AP9 could be back in the running if he stopped rushing his solo CDS).

Just my opinions, though.
PEACE!

Exactly V-Boy. Unfortunately the game of promotion goes far further than a 4x5 flyer & the Siccness.net. The days of selling 10,000 units out of the trunk of your Cutlass seem to no longer exist due to the fact that anyone with a computer, fruity loops (blah) & an internet connection considers themselves as a bonafide artist born to go Gold off CD-Rs (yeah right).

The next to "blow up" from the bay won't be a rapper. It'll be a singer or a producer(a la Ric Roc).
dumbass nigga, ric roc is from mobile, alabama and is already BIG. if u wanna talk about a producer here blowing up think about ea-ski or cellski or the man always coming with the new sounds and flava SEAN T. Quinn got the best chance though. Moe, i don't know u but i know i could beat the fuck out of u quit talking like u is another nigga on the block cuz u aint potna. save the internet threats for your college friends bitch.

Damn potna you do have some good insights about the bay area rap game but you got a lot of hate towards some of these cats on here. I got no friends on this board and I'm not trying to defend no nigga on here becuase the only person I care about is myself, I just think you need to handle your business and quit running mouth.
