I gotta agree with C-Dubb. Being the hottest rapper INSIDE of Sac is absolutely nothing in the whole scheme of things. You gotta get outta here and make some moves. Sac is real small and it's pretty easy to get your name known out here. I got over trying to be the hottest in Sac in 02/03. I get a lot of sales outside of Sac whether retail, out the trunk or online. They even cop my shit outside the United States. So Sac is not that big a factor whether I or any other vet eats. Honestly the only one of the 3 cats she mentioned that I've seen something on the shelves was Blapstar. Flossalini and my lil cousin who blogs put me up on Illecism. I've never heard of L-Solo tho. Nothing against them but they got some more work to do before they can overcome some of these vets. Far as who I recognize, hear about, get asked about outside of Sac I gotta say.

I see I offended some of my boys on the album sales comment. Right now whether anyone likes it or not the youngings is getting it in rite now! They have all these little girls on them buying their shit whetere its slim jewled cased or not.
Y'all may not like the illecisms, or blapstars but they are on their grind as much as anyone. What 19 year old is traveling out of state and getting paid for shows? Blap and solo I can voulch for! I've personaly picked them up from the airport.

i gotta disagree tho.. his last ep dropped in april did really well with no promo..x has loyal fans just like lynch .. they will always do good numbers...x is one of the only artists in sac that got a good distribution deal , runs his label and puts out projects consistantly AND THATS ALL FROM BEHIND BARS.. i aint just sayin this because im signed to the label . im just speakin facts.. of course he cant do shows , but he is still holdin it down for sac rap. real talk.. in my opinion , its not about how cool you look and popular you are in the clubs... its about who is really eatin??? real spit , who is really keepin theyre head above water independantly??? most kats out here press 1,000 copies and sit on 9 boxes..lmao... i been to shows where the most "popular" rappers are in the building and they just hang around and hope people buy drinks for them...lol.. that aint gettin it my friend....

I feel exactlly what you saying, like bringing up C-Bo in the convo. You're basiclly saying who's campagining in the streets, on the road, on TV, the radio, etc. actually out there publiclly for the fans to root for.
All in all the real question is what defines HOT? Album Sales (Soundscan), Dopest Lyrics, Most Money (how do you verify that?), or the fans favorite?
No disrespect to no one but I doubt if I listen to half of the kats mentioned on any basis. What I listen to is what is presented to me thru peers and word of mouth. So hot to me is what's buzzin in the street, as well as my ears. Now the catch is... what's hot on your block, may not be hot on my block and vice versus. Now this is the SiCCness so I expect majority of the votes to go Lynch, Raided, T-Nutty, Bleezot, Sav Sicc, etc (Anyone from that Genre of Sacramento music) but the reality is there's a lot of segregation of music out here in Sac so answers will always be biased.
But who can deny Bueno at the moment? Hit song on Radio, Nice video to go with it, and he takes out of State trips so it appears the city or a good portion of it is behind em. Why Not?
