i've been an assassin fan since 97 or so, assassin has his own style and spits that rapid fire street shit. he's is not only a tight rapper, but is one of the best producers in bay area history as well.... there are very few cats in this game that are known for their rap skills as well as their beats... rza, eminem, dr dre, manny fresh, timbaland, JD and assassin...
assassin has well over 200,000 records sold and to do that in the bay is almost unheard of. most people who are fans of assassin dont even know he produces 95% of the trax he spits on. he's also produced for tupac, digital underground, south central cartel, thuglife, slick rick, rob base and hundreds of others. there aint nobody in the bay that has his kind of independant success. over 20 records out and no signs of slowing down, assassin deserves his place in history as one of the greatest rappers in bay area history... real talk

Its hard to say who is the best cause most of them are opinions but all the ones mentioned are doing great and need to keep bringing heat.
Kee is doing big things(and yeah i liked his last album on thizz)

Ignite in underated as well as 10sion too.

I gotta say, Assasin does not spit heat in my opinion, but he can produce some of the best beats i have ever heard anywhere. Sometimes he will flow, and sometimes i'm just like, what the fuck did he just say????? and not in that" i don't understand" type of shit. Just some basic, 5th grade lunchrooms flows. As far as him being one of the best latin rappers???? come on? the bay really doesn't have too many quaility latin rappers if you look at it. But then again, Fat Joe is as bad and garbage lyrically as you can get, but he knows how to market himself with those old " how to be cool " themes.
It was just a compilation put out by Swerve back in 98'. And yes its a classic album..
RBL Posse, The Mossie, PSD, Potna Deuce, Mac Dre, N2DEEP, Assassin and Tupac, Latino Velvet, The Looies, 4tay just a great album, my favorite song on that album is Peanut Butter and Jelly(Young C-Major, Dubee, and Beesh) part 1 was better than 2..either way just some info and my .02
