I'm not asking best southern rapper of all time, just who is the best of the current generation that got big these past 5 years or so. that's why i didn't put scarface, andre 3k, ludacris bun b etc.

I like Young Jeezy... he's no lyricist, but he makes dope music IMO

most of the newer rappers from the South are kinda garbage... all about leanin and snappin and crankin whatever new dance is hot on youtube

there's def talent down south... but also a lot of garbage down there

I voted for Lil Wayne (yeah yeah hate... but he's waaay better than wack ass Gucci Mane who all you motherfuckers love so much)

but he didn't really come up within the last 5 years

he got a lot more popular... but he's been around since like '98... I voted for him anyways

Chamillionaire is dope too... I just probably don't listen to him as much

seeing as Luda don't count, Chamillionaire and Killer Mike would be the top two on the mic out of that group IMO... but as far as relevance as of late I'd say Chamillionaire
