DMX has skill, and is great at expressing himself. It's just once you are rich, famous, and have a happy dream life you have nothing more to rap about.
Ja Rule is a great rapper too. He just stopped making gangster rap, and now makes bitch music. I am not a bitch, so i do not listen to his music. That doesn't mean he is a bad rapper. But most who listen to his music have vaginas or are fruity.
So neither are bad rappers. But if you are comparing against Bay Area Rappers (since this is a B.A.R.T. forum) I would have to say Ja Rule is MUCH more of a Hoe.

DMX is better than ja rule. im fellin yall when u say dmx first 2 albums were tight. and i know why.. HE WAS A MAD MUTHAFUCKA back then. but after those 2 albums he was ballin right. so probably he didnt care if the record labels told him to make party cuts and tone his shit down for the next 2 albums. but you know.. ja rule is gettin on dmx nerves and got dmx heated again! so dmx' next album i might have to pick up. i only got the first 2, the reason why i like the shit was cuz dmx was mad on those 2 albums. since ja is makin dmx mad lately, i hope his album reflects on his anger! haha
