Fuck!!! The same mother fucker broke into my car again the same way and he got all my shit this time. He tore up my glove box to get the faceplate for the deck out. Got my deck, amp and sub. Can someone recommend a good alarm system? I am putting back my stock deck and leaving my speakers. It just sucks that I can't have the shit I want in my car anymore.

It's happened to me 3 times.

Get a alarm with pager / proximity sensor. Also go hit up kragens and get a locking car cover (use a pad lock or something). With this setup the person will actually have to cut the wire on your car cover to even get to your doors. If they do that they will need to get close and the proximity will go off.

Look at DEI or Compustar alarms. The cost like around 500$ for install + alarm + proximity but its worth it I think.

i'm paying extra for off street parking, and it's hella secluded & shit, so i didn't think i would have to take my cd player out of the car at nights... ugh.

oakland police won't do shit.

this is bullshit though... all the time i lived in south berkeley and parked on the damn street, nobody ever broke into my car. and now i have a damn parking spot hella far down a driveway, my shit gets broken into.

I remember going to a bar in east oakland and parking my car on the corner & my 2 friends parked in front of me.....well I ended up leaving the bar and was in someone elses car hittin the strip looking for sideshows and I got a call from my friends saying both their cars got broken into....mine didn't get fucked with because my deck was already ripped out (the new years theft I was talking about earlier) so I just pulled the cables out so its hella visible that the deck is gone......I had probably a thousand dollars worth of shit (electronics and whatnot) in a backpack, I was hella lucky



and to whoever (I think it was bombsac) said something about feeling violated when their car was broken into.....that ain't shit compared to having your house broke into....someone came in thru my bedroom window and completely ransacked the house....I had a small room, but my shit was EVERYFUCKINGWHERE.....drawers dumped, matress flipped, computer on the floor (they pushed it down cuz it was in front of the window)...they did the same shit with my moms room....took her money & jewelry but they couldn't find my stash spot....that shit sucks.....it was a terrible ass feeling
