I didn't say anything is wrong with it, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that's the first thing people think of when you bring up the Bay Area. I've been to the East Coast, they think it's all gays out here. She's presenting herself as a Bay rapper saying "I agree."
I don't have a problem with people being gay, but I have a problem with people calling everyone in the place I've lived my whole life gay. Call anyone who's straight a fag/queer/etc. and they'll take it as an insult, that's the way it's been for years. Why wouldn't it be on anything else? I think that's the only audio she put on her website... So how would anyone know that's not what she's all about? If she's speaking on it at a show why wouldn't shit like that be on her album? That sounded like a "regular rap song" to me... Anyway that's the first impression I got of her, it was the only song I had found on the site that was working... And it seems to me that if she's saying shit like that in that song she'd be saying it in others... I haven't heard of a rapper yet who hides their feelings in their songs, they usually put everything they've seen/felt/heard/thought in their life out in their music and for the most part try to keep it real.
