Its only been out for a week give it time, some albums dont go platinum until after a couple months. Dont forget its a different time and age today its slow in sales now. I wonder what gonna be the excuse when The Game flops? Bc he wont go 5x plat again if Luda, T.i., Chamillionaire, Young Joc, Chris Brown didnt do it he sure in the fuck wont.

the album flopped, can't deny that

I wouldn't care much but it's a surprisingly good album given that it's a Gay-Unit release so it's kinda sad

his first one was horrible and went platinum, this one is much better and will hardly go gold

Yeah it's true, more info..

In this week's Hip-Hop Charts, Lloyd Banks debuts at #3, Ludacris keeps the money flowing, and Rick Ross is still pushing the limit.

Debuting on The Hip-Hop Charts this week is Lloyd Banks, taking the No. 3 slot. The bad apple seems to have rolled off the edge this week, with only 143,100 copies sold. The G-Unit rapper's sophomore LP, Rotten Apple, is led by the single "Hands Up," and was previously headed by the Timbaland-produced "My House," which didn't seem to work out.

Slipping fours seats to No. 10 this week is Ludacris. The DTP rep has banged it out again this week, with 74,400 copies sold, although a bigger 112,600 was sold last week. Still, Luda's latest effort seems to be doing fine, nearly hitting gold status with 496,800 representing the first 3 weeks.

Still in the game at No. 36 this week is Rick Ross. The hustler is still on top of his game, with 545,600 units sold after 10 weeks. The 7-day cycle has ended at 23,600.

Up next is Chingy, taking No. 41 this week. This week, Hoodstar is only hot in the 'hood with 20,600 discs sold, bringing the total to 157,900.

Holding on to the rap competition this week is Lupe Fiasco, taking a seat at No. 49. The 1st & 15th recording artist has been on the move for 4 weeks, but has only managed to push 150,200 units in total. This week, the rapper from the Chi has moved 17,400 copies.

Taking the No. 55 position this week is Gnarls Barkley. As previously reported, the duo is already set to work on their next effort, as their present, St. Elsewhere, has surpassed the one million mark at 1,000,900. This week, the sales have finished off at 16,200.

Shifting only three slots on the charts this week is Yung Joc, taking the seat at No. 67. The ATL rapper has moved 13,300 discs this week, which rounds off the total digits to 776,500 after 19 weeks.

Coming in at No. 71 this week is Young Dro. The T.I affiliate is still in the game, with 247,500 discs sold to date. Dro has finished off the week-in total at 12,800.

Dropping fifteen positions this week is Outkast, landing at No. 88. It seems as if the Atlanta duo is on their way out of the rap competition after 8 weeks, with this week's numbers rounding off to 11,100, compared to 13,700 sold last week. To date, Idlewild is still inching towards gold status, with 414,600 copies sold.

On the other side of the music, Justin Timberlake is relentless, Fergie takes the second slot, Janet Jackson is third best, Beyonce's alarm is on high, Monica slips, and Danity Kane are last in place. Holding on to the top ten rank this week is Justin, sitting at No. 7. This week, Futuresex/Lovesounds has made off with 92,000 copies, with the total reading off at 1,269,000 after 5 weeks on the charts. Taking No. 17 this week is Fergie. She has banged out 332,600 discs, moving 44, 200 CDs this week. Struggling to stay in the top twenty this week is Janet Jackson, holding on to No. 19. This week's numbers have finished off at 42,200, bringing the total to 416,400. Taking No. 20 is Beyonce, with 42,000 discs sold this week. The total for B-Day has finished off at 960,000, just a few steps away from official platinum stat. Taking a major loss at No. 26 this week is Monica. After only seven days, Monica has lost her No. 8 position and has tumbled out of the top twenty, with 29,600 discs sold this week. The total reads off at 122,500. Coming in at No. 30 this week is Danity Kane. The total for the Bad Boy group reads off at 639,900, as the week has finished off at 26,100.

Next week, look for Diddy, DJ Hi-Tek and Xzibit to make appearances on the Hip-Hop Charts.
