Remeber back in the day before Master P started this thing of putting the next supposdly albums to come out soon in the inside of the album cover. No one was doing this. Then JT started it. Then everbody just jumped on the band wagon. which is cool. artist put albumbs in the inside of the album cover I guess to get you hyped up, they even go as far as putting the date. Why go through all this or what is really going on when this album doesn't release. I ain't tryin to pick on no one so let's start with P that Power Moves compilation never dropped. Jt that Ive Low never dropped. Wille Hen man it's been coming soon for the last two years. And it still seems that it's going to be a while . cause ai figure Quinn Got to drop and that was suppose to drop last October if you just stuck to the true advertised due date. Mess is good with meeting his dead lines. well we will see with this diary. I can't wait for that to come out. And dre is pretty good also. But man stop hyping up what will not drop, within at least 6 months. Or better yet, I am not going to allow you to hype me up anymore. It feels like they playing with my emotions mann!!! It does provide a good service though because now you at least know to be on the lookout, as oppose to hearing about it two months after the release. But the date you lookout for is really never the true date at all. Never has and I think people in the record industry know that it never will.

I agree and what's even more annoying is when they say Coming Soon and it never materializes. It's almost like spreading misinformation. If your material isn't even recorded yet, don't announce it! If you putting on the finishing touches, then its coo but otherwise drop what you drop and come through with the promises.
I dont know what the deal is with that, all I can say is when I see a Done Deal release is due out and goto the store and its not there I buy a different CD if I see something...its really too bad Quinn has had his own label for 5 yrs and not released a solo yet, and not released a solo at all in the last three years...hopefully I Give U My Word will be the big one...
I understand you guys frustration with Album release dates.. i too as a FAN hate it when i wait on something and it gets pushed back! AS an EXECUTIVE and MANAGER I know the business has to be right, there is alot of time money and energy pit into making these albums and then for one reason or another shit doesnt get handled.. With I give you My word.. it was done with another executive JR Rider and conflicting schedules has held this record up.. i will start a post explaining more and announcing the street date.

Most of the time they DO have the material done, thats not the hard part, You have to Mix, Master, Promote(remember the bay aint the world, and the bay dont even support our music like we should, so they have to let everyone else in the world know, ITS COMING OUT.) DO shows all that shit. Who knows Maybe these guys are fielding offers from distrobution right now trying to get that money they deserve.
