Black History month is used to celebrate those African-Americans (Black History Month is an American thing) that helped in their own ways to lay the ground work for civil rights and racial integration.
History is History regardless of the skin color of those who are important to it.
White History Month can never exist simply because from the beginning of this country, it's been mostly Caucasian males who have been in positions of power that would be recorded in a historical context. Don't sit there and bitch and moan and complain that there's not enough black historical figures, because in my experience, most black males my age don't know a damn thing about black history, period. You want to walk around with Obama airbrushed on your t-shirt, think you're celebrating the most historical black figure in your lifetime and don't even realize Barack Hussein Obama is half white, 43% Arabic and 7% African. After all, how many of your relatives got the first or middle names Barack or Hussein? Mfkrs think they have rights to reparations because your great great great grandfather was a slave?
If you do some research, you can find plenty of pre-integration African-American men who have made great accomplishments in American History: James Rapier, W.E.B Du Bois just to name a couple.
this is 2009 baby. The whole "race-war" only exists in the minds of people who want to fight it. The more you think "the man" is holding you down, the more you're gonna sit on your ass and use it as an excuse. And that applies to all ignorant people in the ghetto, whether you're black, Latino or even white.
