actually the problem is that the vast majority of "current hip hop" whether mainstream OR underground sucks. Most of the people into underground shit dont even realize the shit they're listening to sucks because they get off on knowing about shit that most people don't know about it. If they actually cared about the music they would notice that most underground shit is dull, dry and just as unoriginal as the shit in the mainstream with the main difference between the underground and mainstream being that the mainstream guys tend to at least have a little charisma and good engineering to go along with their complete lack of talent while the underground shit generally doesn't have either.

all i know is the vast majority of people i know that listen to underground hip hop and have for years havent complained one bit. while the all the people who like mainsteam music are the ones complaining about how much music sucks right now
cause honestly if it wasnt for the siccness,i would have NO idea music sucks right now. between the shit me and the people around me listen to... backpack,gangsta,whatever,we have no complaints at all.
the problem is people are too lazy to seach for new outlets for music and stick to the same formulas for finding good music. they assume that if the radio isnt playing good shit,and their favorite arists arent making good shit. music must suck. they dont bother to take the time to find new artists or try new forms of hip hop. they are stuck in their ways.

z-ro is in my top 5 artists of all time,that video that didnt work was trae feat. z-ro "live my life"...dont get it twisted. so might want to stop with all that nerd talk. i listen to the same shit you do. i listen to the same things everybody does on this site. just so happens i listen to a lot more things than most.

You are a fucking moron! Dont stereotype me as some backpack nerd that only listens to one kind of music. I grew up listening to west coast gangsta rap; Cube, CMW, ATL, Kam, WC, King T, etc. I also used to listen to a lot of southern rap and bay area rap while you were still sucking on your mothers titties. I love any music where the artist puts his soul into, no matter where its from. Good music is good music, we're just tryiing to open peoples minds to some shit they might not hear or know about, If ya dont like fuck off and go post at allhiphop...
