Sound Forge is a single track audio package, so it is viable for most music recording purposes... (although when it comes to single track editing, it can't be beat for day to day use)

Sonar is a little behind Logic and Cubase as far as audio processing goes.

So out of the three you mentioned, protools gets the nod.
