i voted for dre cuz i chopped it up w/ him for a minute. he was real coo w/ the people & seemed more accessable. with others like mr. cee, i didn't learn about their death til later cuz i wasn't living in the bay at the time (moved there in '97) & the net wasn't what it is now. i only knew the others thru music & magazine interviews...no treal tv.

I'd have to say 2Pac. I still remember where I was and what I was doing when they pronounced him dead. His death didn't impact me because he was a great rapper...his death impacted me because of the person he was, and the things he stood for. Most people don't realize that 2Pac was on a different level than most. He said shit that made the world think, and that's why there are 2Pac murals around the world...and people wearing t-shirts bearing his image from Brazil to the deepest parts of Africa and Australia. If that's not power and respect, I don't know what is.

As far as his music goes...All Eyez On Me was released less than a month before the death of my best friend. LIFE GOES ON made me sit and think about my dude...2Pac's words made me sit and think about my dude...and some of the shit he said actually helped me cope with what I was going through. So to have the man that felt my pain pass away 6 months later, it actually fucked with me a bit. 'Pac is the reason I don't keep my mouth shut...it might not be wise at times, but he made me realize you gotta keep speaking your mind if you want people to pay attention.

Probably Mac Dre but not in the obsessed fan sense like most the groupies on here or like the people who actually knew him.

I was just a fan of his music and he seemed like he was a cool guy who was fun to be around, never heard nothing faulty about him ever. I was shocked to hear someone did him like they did

WHO EVER VOTED MAC DRE OVA PAC IS TRIPPEN, PAC HAD WAYY MORE FANS....

The poll is not about "who had the most fans", its who's death impacted you the most. I had only met Pac once, and I wasn't a very big Pac fan when he died. I met, knew and kicked it with Dre on many occasions, my brother is best friends with his brother, so our families have always been cool, and I had nothin but love for his music. Thats why his death impacted me way more than Pacs.

Both the death's of Cougnut and Mr. Cee got to me, since I grew up on their shit; more so Cougnut. And Mr. Cee was RBL, in my opinion. I don't care much for anything RBL did after Mr. Cee's death.

The death of Mac Dre was a harsh blow to the Bay. I wasn't even a fan of his latest shit. But respect is due where it deserves. He helped put the Bay on the map. That goes without saying.

Tupac, the rest were just rappers to me.

Pac was a born leader and a blessing from GOD.... Very gifted person.... The rest on that list dont even compair.
exactly much love & respect to all of the rappers that died but pac wasnt jus a rapper, he was more then that. he was a political leader, activist, poet, actor, greatest rapper of all-time. wat i liked bout him was that he didnt talk bout the same shit & spoke on wat was on his mind. i liked him for who he was. the guy had all kinds of songs. he had songs that hyped u up, kick back songs, mob music, etc., he had it all.
