KMEL is aight. There is a few that are KMEL affiliated in here so there is nuttin but respect for that savage hustle of the savage hustla,mayn.On the Independent level is has to be KPOO. Underground Online level has to be Siccness. The Best underground radio secret has to be T-Kash's radio show on KPFA. The colllege to support Bay Rap has to be between 90.1 or KALX. San Jose State does represent that 408 Rap, sometimes. Also, 95 Live is one of the best underground radio station out for the Yay. The best rock station that plays more Bay Rap than person's stations has to be LIVE 105.3.

id have to say 95live is the shit, for pure bay representation.. me and Sly may disagree on shit sometimes, but i have nothin but respect for what hes done with that station. As for KMEL, sometimes "welcome to Atlanta" is what the people want, and we have to give the people what they want. Playing all bay-all day is not what the majority of our listeners want.
and as for me, i still go out and buy bay artists albums. I bought US OPEN, i Bought sicwidit umbrella, i bought turf talks last album. messy handed me his last album, but i had already bought it. Support starts at a grass roots level, not with radio. the streets have to support you before the mainstream will.

Alot of entrepreneurs in here mentioned that they are starting new Rap Radio Stations on the FM dial in the Yay.Keep up updated on that radio hustle, mayn.If anybody here working on projects on starting a new Hip Hop radio station in the Bay, sprinkle some info here. Bay Rap should start flossin unity between the New Bay and Old School Bay Music and unite to form a radio station that plays quality music from the Bay. Lets stop all this commercialized mixtape beefs cuz its useless and start seeing that a lot of these beefs are being tolerated by these mainstream PEOPLE's STATION! If this PEOPLE's STATION on the FM DIAL gave more opportunities to OG BAY Rappers and Old School Bay Rap, there wouldn't be all the funk going back and forth between elders and youth. Its all about Independent and Underground Radio!
