I know this is the wrong place to be asking this but since you guys are so helpful at solving all lifes problems maybe u can help me on a bet. I got money on the answer!

SO once again, where is the rock group Metallica from? WHat City would you say ?

Most of the band is from the L.A. area and Kirk Hammett is from S.F.

They made a name for themselves after moving to S.F. because it had a much larger metal scene then L.A. did at the time though.

I think you're right. Because LA was more into Motley Crue etc. at the time.

I can't stand Metallica though, they only have a song or two I can listen to.
