I need to prove to about 20 ignorant idiots who jock Tupac like he's God that Digital Underground was not his first rap group. Where did he start out rapping? With who? What were the name(s) of any groups? I want to know everything about his rap career BEFORE Digital Underground. I know that he was with 51.50 or something. Help a muthaphukka. It would be greatly appreciated.

Digital Underground was definitely not Pac's first group. Before that was Strictly D.O.P.E. with Ray Luv, DJ Diz, and a few other cats involved like Capitol B from Tha Funxsouljaz. And before that he was in a group while in Marin City, but I can't remember the name. Sorry.

Punch all twenty of those idiots in the face.

who cares? Pac was always destened to be a Solo artist... he rapped with a lot of Bay Area rappers, but seemed like he left them in the dust (except a few)... but seemed like he forgot about his Marin City folks, once he got to Oakland

they wasn't on ANY of his albums... but he always had folks from the Oak-Town on them

His first group was Strictly Dope along with Ray Luv a.k.a. Rock-T
and DJ-Dizzy

Before that he might have had only appearances on a couple of albums.

I have a book about it, with a CD.

I've got that solo song too illmannered. Pac was "the menace of Marin" on that song.

Good shit. I'd like to hear the copy you have and see if the one I have is the same.

I found my 51.50- AWOL CD and in the booklet it says that Tupac was part of a rap group called One Nation Emcees with one of the members of 51.50, I think Ryan D and there were like three other guys in the group. Thanks for all the replys.
