Everyone, the above statement is coming from a person who believed in God, denied his maker, cried for him when he was on his death bed (literally) and now no longer believes in him. To take his words as truth is a waste of time.

Yeah that shit is very interesting. I learned a lot about it in the anthropological sense in school, but I have also read a fair amount of info about the collective unconscious relative to spirituality and/or religion. Do you acknowledge the collective unconscious in a spiritual perspective?

damn i almost forgot about this post... i didnt remember what thread this discussion was on... i like to discuss these kinds of things for self enlightenment because i soak everybodies interpetation on religon and such so i dont mean to sound coy or feceious in the slightest.. but..i have some questions..

how can one be so assured that the bible speaks the true words of "god" when it was man made?

how can one be confident in the fact that man didnt insert his own agenda into it to better suit his own selfish views? (I.E i kno that some racists use it as an exscuse to be racist)
