These days, if you want to be president, you basically MUST be a Christian or else you'll lose too many voters. If you want to be a senator you have to be either Christian, Jewish, or some kind of polite agnostic. If you want to be a congressman, you either have to be one of the above or a movie star.


But when will Americans stop giving a fuck about that shit? And I won't limit it to Muslims. What about Buddhists and flat-out atheists and maybe Hindus and maybe even (gasp) Gods & Earths?


I mean, I look at the "hip hop generation" and a lot of the youth are pretty cool with different kinds of people.... but they were pretty cool back in the 60's and 70's and all those mofos got haircuts and real jobs...man.

And of course I'm ignoring the giant backasswards hick population that made Garth Brooks go 54x platinum.... but fuck those people. When will they be open to this kind of shit?

Some youth are and some youth aren't. IMHO, some people are simply "cool" because they want to be accepted, but if they are scrutinized the majority will change swiftly.

I don’t care what religion they are, I believe there should be 100% Separation of Church & State. No politician should ever be allowed to publicly announce his/her religion or publicly endorse any religion. the christians in america will continue to have a louder voice (i.e. more followers who have more influence on the decision the government makes) than the muslims. at least for the next few generations.

the second point was theoretical. if one day the US and the muslims go to war and the muslims come out victorious and take the US over, then maybe there will be a muslim president. im not saying i hope or wish that to happen, but thats probobly the only way such a thing will take place.
