And 11 of 13 songs suck asshole, do you think that they know that? Or do they really believe that their album is knock from front to back? I acks myself this question often when listening to an album for the first time. Thoughts?

Its fuckin sad really. If I was a MC I would make sure all my songs on the album were the absolute shit to where pretty much nobody could say they dont slap or go hard.

I dont understand rappers puttin out 2 dope songs and the rest aint worth a shit, why the fuck even waist your time? Dont u want people to put in your cd and be like daaaaamn this mutha fucka is tha shit!!!

The people who I know who do music only put out songs that they like. I don't like every single song that they put on every album. But you can't expect to like every song. Now, I should say these songs aren't bad, I just dont' particularly like them as much as other songs on the album(s).

But if we're talking mainstream industry rappers and shit, I'd HOPE they know those songs suck goat cocks. I think I've only bought 2-5 albums mainstream that I could listen to 90% of the songs on and not skip through them. I'd say about 50% of the indie/underground type stuff I listen to I can listen to all of it. But I also don't go out buying shit just to listen to new stuff. I only get stuff that I know I'm going to like cause I've heard songs online or something.

I hear some songs and I wonder if they know how bad it sucks

I then wonder when I show people my songs do they feel the same?

If the artist is a perfectionist you will always get good songs, whether they fit your style or not... if they lazy you get trash that no one can feel

it depends, alot of artist are controlled by their label... so its what the label thinks is a good song, not the artist... so that takes count for alot of the bullshit coming out...

but in all honesty alot of dudes prolly think alot of shit gos when it doesnt, like me; i like alot of shit people hate and im sure its vice versa...

The Free Willy OST

E-40 in a major way

this shit is opinionated... but I think Devin the dude, Juve, E-40 and San Quinn usually make CD's you can play through

don't blame the fruity loop.... 9th wonder made beats for Jay-Z on that... Blame the untalented producer with easy access to production programs

I'ma believer in hardware personally - but I know a lot of producer who make good shit with VST's

ok, so whats some of the best cds put out?

slap from one to end
"Sykotherapy" by S.Y.K.O. aka The Man Behind The Pill. From 2001 on Street Level Records (Seattle, WA).

That shit SLAPS all the way through. Most of those albums from 2001 and before are heat.
