My Favorite Bay mixtape I heard this year was "Too Hood For My own Good" Dubb20 and "owners modern day stoners" Somthin Terrible

I like the songs that Demolition Men get and I like how they dont use too many industry beats and get exclusives but they over do the sound effects way too much

I like DJ Fresh but recently I havent heard anything crazy. The last one I liked was Chris the V

1. Demolition Men - No comment necessary, well fuck it, one comment, "LEGENDARY".

2. DJ Juice - The Kid Capri of the Bay hands down. That dude be on the road like it's no ones business

3. DJ Fresh - Dude grinds heavy, gotta work wit him in the future

5. DJ Ambidekstres - This kid is ill, keep an eye out for him. He goes hard, Ask Willie Joe and Jesse-L bout him.

6. DJ Rick Lee - The OG gives artists every oppurtunity to come real and he throws local showcases at no charge to the artists. What other well known DJ's does that.

7. DJ Doc Boogie & DJ Dizzy - Out the North bay. They mixed the Hood Legends Vol. 1 mix cd. Real good dudes. Side note: DJ Dizzy was one of 2Pac's original DJs when he was in Marin City.

8. DJ Moe 1 - DJ Juice's lil bro, and he's dope

9. DJ Rah2K - Raw got his ear to the street for real for real

10. Metal Mouth DJ's - These South Bay cats know the real meaning of artistry and hustle, and got both on lock

The order I got them in is not a ranking. Each of these DJ's or crews got they own distinctive ways of puttin projects together so you don't feel like you listenin to the same ol shit. They also consistently puttin out new projects and will fuck wit you as long as you got what they consider good music, no politics involved.

on a bigger level they all suck. bayarea radio need some street oriented djs who understand whats hot in the streets. we need more djs like kayslays, clue, sway, who are big enought to break artists. i like the upcoming cats or mixtape djs. the person i did reach out too that was cool was dj juice. i also like the metalmouth djs.

cosign instead of just what is on their label, they can concentrate on whats hot overall,

that would bring more attention because fans from other regions would know where to look for hot music
