since hittin his 500th career homerun, griffey is hittin 195, no homeruns and only 1r.b.i, he was also doing bad before reaching 500, if it's a slump it's been a pretty long one, what do ya'll think the problem with jr is?
Right now just a slump, but overall injuries & age I would guess. Will he even be around that much longer? Maybe he should try to get over to the AL and become a DH, he might do better and last longer in that role.
He started slow and then got heated up a lil bit. He was up at about .270 before all this home run hype and now hes back to not hitting again. I love Griffey and the Reds but I think they need to do somethin about him and his fat ass contract that they arent getting anything for.
Anyone notice how he doesnt hustle anymore either, lol. He knows he'll get hurt if he goes after balls like he used to, he barely even runs out grounders anymore
