well, he hasn't been 100% this whole year, and the cowboys defense would be a lot worse without him.

and what position will carpenter play this coming year? bradie james and kevin burnett will be the inside linebackers since zach thomas has left, with demarcus ware and anthony spencer will possibly start over greg ellis next year. if he's perfect for the 3-4, then why hasn't he done much since he has been drafted?

Wasn't shocking, but Darko over Carmelo, Bosh and Wade had me pissed off..

As far as the Lions, a pick that pissed me off a couple years back was the Lions picking Stanton over Woodley in the second round. Everybody in my house let out a big groan.. Yeah, the Lions need a shitty qb that would've gone two rounds later over Woodley.

I hated the entire draft last year. Didn't like a single pick. I wanted Otah instead of Gosder Cherilus.. Turned off the draft after that pick and laughed at every pick they made after that.

Our recent first round picks are Casey Hampton, Plaxico Burress, Troy Polamalu, Roethlisberger, Santonio Holmes, Heath Miller, Lawrence Timmons, Kendall Simmons, Rashard Mendenhall, Alan Faneca...

If you give Mendenhall the benifit of the doubt, I don't think I've seen a bad first round pick in my lifetime.

In hockey, in my lifetime, we drafted Lemieux, Jagr, Crosby, and Malkin.

Even in baseball we drafted Barry Bonds and Jason Bay.

I can't think of a bad pick off the top of my head aside from Limas Sweed. Or linemen we drafted in the 4, 5, 6 rounds.

i remember how mad i was when we took gallery over fitzgerald. i really wanted the raiders to pick him. after how dope he's turned out (always been good but just getting the recognition) those feelings are returning. then i remember when we traded up to try to get randy moss but the vikings took him before we could. i don't remember who we ended up with but we could have had charles woodson and randy moss in that round.

i also got mad when we picked russell over calvin johnson

1983 Draft

It was 1983 when they drafted Gabriel Rivera the Defensive Tackle who came out of Texas Tech! Dan Marino was up for grabs and we took this bust instead! Marino played for the Pittsburgh Panthers too in college and everyone knew we were taking him... Yeah and Dan paid the Steelers back the next year in the AFC Championship when the sucker fish fins beat us!

What's funny is five others players were chosen after that until someone picked Dan Marino up. So Pittsburgh wasn't the only one's to pass up on the future Hall of Famer! I think he was taken like 27th...
Are you that young Stealth?

How bout when the Eagles fans booed when McNabb got picked because they wanted Ricky Williams. I wish they would have got him..

Worst pick for my Redskins was/is Heath Shuler in the first round of the 1994 draft, 3rd pick..... Dude never amounted to shit throwing double the INT's vs. TD ratio. What an embarrassment:hurt:!

Surprising pick was Chris Cooley in the 04' draft in the 3rd round.... This guys has been a solid gamer and posting up pretty nice numbers as a Redskin tightend in 5 years with them:cool:!
