I noticed there was a Phat Farm logo on the bottom of the ad for Black Wall Street in the new Murderdog. Anybody know the deal?

in the booklet for that "daily grind" comp JT is in alotta pics with celebs like will smith, russell simmons etc. it seems to be in a convention or some shit. i don't think they are really doing things. i guess it's just pics of em shaking hands LOL

Why would JT put Russell Simmon's company logo on his advertisement, if there wasn't something going on with them?

i think russel simmons chose jt to represent the bay in the rap summit thing. they aint best friends or nothin but i think its more than just a handshake.

On some magazine, there was an ad about Russell Simmons, Puff Daddy, and others helping smaller labels such as J.T.'s and there were pictures with J.T./Puff, J.T./Russell... is that what you guys are talking about?

Agreed. Actually, in the latest issue of MURDER DOG, JT admitted that he was at a Hip Hop summit with Russell Simmons and Minister Farrakham involving instruction on how to help improve ghetto communities and whatnot. That could be where the photos with JT and Russell Simmons originated. But only JT knows what's going on. As the Bible says, "Judge not, lest ye shall be judged." I remember reading posts here last August saying that JT signed with Universal, but I don't know if anything came of that or not. PEACE!
