I am more of a Murder Dogg music fan, but that mag don't really have it put together quite the way the Source does...

But the way Benzino is using that shit for a mouthpiece against Eminem is typical industry bullshit, and I don't plan on throwing down money or time or attention to support it...anyone know of a better alternative?

I always liked XXL. The first issue I bought had an interview with C-BO and Brotha Lynch. I remember another issue had a fake interview with Quentin Tarantino called "Black Like Me". It was hilarious.

The Source is trash. Benzino put himself in the hip hop quotable, and had the cartoonist do a cartoon of him busting up M&Ms with Eminem looking around the corner.
The 5 mics system is bullshit. Too many pages about new cars, fashion, car stereos and other material things.

Yall are sleepin on Rime magazine.
XXL is coo

Murderdog fell off to me.I can't read half the interviews they do,cuz they'll use black ink,on a dark green background,it's like trying to de-code old biblical artifacts.

4080 was tight. they used to have it here in kansas. i still read murder dog but it was tighter back when it was printed on those big pieces of paper back around 1997 and when they had the cin sity records freak of the month ads. i remember one good issue of XXL when they had some article about E-40 and all the bay area slang and shit but that was back in the day. i don't like XXL anymore except the eye candy

Showcase and Xplosive are tight too from what I've seen. I've only seen one issue of Xplosive and one issue of Showcase
