Yeah I heard of Country Boy Crip. My potna who was in YA hella years ago told me about'em. I had a roommate who was from Bakerfield. She use to dress like a bum. I was like "do all females from Bakersfield dress like you?"

I use to work @ this call center & there was always 2 things that were always on the money. Whenever I got a call from someone in New York they always came off rude & whenever I got a call from someone in Bakersfield they always came off like they were slow. Real shit. It never failed

Only thing they have going for them is the claim of having the first Del Taco, and they hook the Tacos up FAT there. That and the outlet...with nice Reebok stuff.

my grandmother lives out there in east side crip territory and all my cousins out there bang. its really nothing to do but gangbang and cry over weak hoes. i can say i have never been to a function in bakersfield that didnt get shot up. in the summer i would go out there to house parties and grown niggas would shoot it up. when i was grown and go out there and hit the club, they had one called the elks i been there 4 times and it got shot up every time. i got a couple of beezies out there thats cool to stop and hit something driving back from vegas, but you dont want to kick it, aint no money out there and the bitches is all toreback. but if you from out of town you can get them hoes to menage, pose naked whatever.

Bakersfield is good for being 4 hours from the Bay, 1.5 hours from LA, 2 hours from the coast, 4 hours from Vegas. It's brutal in the summer, and the air quality often ranks as among the worst in the nation. If you are in Oil, you can make really good money as it produces 10% of the nations oil; there is also a good amount of Agriculture.

If you thought LAPD had a bad rap for police behavior, know that many police choose to work in Kern County over LA because police are permitted to do just about anything they want; they are made men in Bakersfield; pick up a copy of "Mean Justice" if you want sources.

Wild Wild West comes to mind symbolically to describe many aspects of it, some literally as well.

Actuall 4 her kids sake no she wasn't. Where she lived was hood than a muthafucka! When I went out there to visit ma grandma she lived in a crip hood. But when I went down the street and around the corner to visit ma relative, she lived in a blood hood. Talkin bout red rags tied around the telephone poles in shit. So fucked up that ma other relative had to call the chinese food place on the corner to order his food and call back to see when it is ready cause he got jacked for his food before. I remember one time me and ma older relative was walkin to granny pad and this doberman came outta nowhere and chased us so we hit a fence. Then this lady that lived in a house that looked abandoned came out and got the dog. It was her protection. If there was 12 houses on the block, 7 of them would be ran down and fucked off.
