Probably been posted before, but i wanna kno what more is it gonna take for the bay area too be recognized on a worldwide level. I know balance is doing things with some mixtape djs in NY. but im talking where we in the loop of radio spins worldwide. all that. what more is it gonna take?... radio in our backyard is there.... but what about in LA, NY,TEXAS,AZ???? Strawberry told me that the bay dogs gotta be pound for pound wit the petey pablo's and all them u hear on the radio.... I think federation, EA-SKI, KEAK are up in the ranks. I just want this area too fuckin blow up!!!.... well its a hustle. time will tell... so whats it gonna take?.... do our bay artists need too be signed too majors? please someone educate me

the bay has some wack beats, only like 3 nice beats on an album if more its rare, im not the beat type anyway i listenm to lyrics, but eastcoast and shit is all about beats.. but when the bay catches up w/ beats i think it will be recognized.

yeah,I been saying that the whole time, even before kats started sampling.... i think alot more ROB LO'S are gon come and just alot of better prodcution, and when that happens SHITS IS GON BLOW ON A WORLDWIDE LEVEL... cuz that louie loc song was a kool beat ( what up big d!)... i meen we inches

It's gunna take some other shit. being versatile in the bay. everybody gotta have there own space of music out here. Until the radio and the listeners start to open their ears to other rap styles and except it and love it. Of course it's still gotta be a hot track but just because it don't sound like the rest of the shit out here niggas should be refreshed.

This topic is one that makes its way round every month or so.. Everytime I see it I say what are these poeple doing out here to stand out to the world???? Are they coming with better promotion campains?? (not a couple commercials on BET (local) or 5000 posters and flyers) New venues to throw shows at?? New producers?? New DJ's?? More Diverse albums?? A more rehearsed show?? Touring to new areas??
