Better business,Better managers,better publicist,better attitudes,and better promotion teams. A lot of bay artist are garbage but there's also a few dope artist/groups producing good quality music. To me its not about who's the dopest anymore in the music industry. It's about who has there business straight and money rite.

An artist can be bigger then there native city or region. Example lil'b.. Im not a fan of his music at all but the bay was his last stop when he started pushing his base god movement. im not doubting that, if thats your opinion player. but what are you basing the level of illness on? theres alot of cats that are garbage that are on the radio. but theres a lot of cats that are sick too. its only about makin mass appealing music. its more than a dancable tempo and clean lyrics. its more than making a song for the bitches. you gotta listen to the radio if you wanna be on the radio. theres hella rappers signed to majors as we speak whos albums wont ever drop. and theres probably classic golden era bay rap albums in major vaults all cus the artist wasnt ready for the big time, for what ever reason. music changes. all genres. underground and commercial.
