Whats An insurance Premium?

Just got a qoute For Some insurance on my car , and they say my Premium is like 1 thousan and somethin. what does that mean? a month? a year?

I thought that was the deductible? The premium is the thing you pay for your services.

Vinn explained it. Basically depending on how much you pay monthly it's a payment you have to put down towards any repairs on your car if you want your insurance provider to cover the rest. Basically it's a scam, but what else can you do?

Premium is the 6month or yr total

Deductible is what you pay to start a claim if you have full coverage.

Okay, How are you going to register your car?

If your car is new you do know the bank will force you to have insurence. If a car with a loan on it is in your name and the car has no insurence you know they can/will suspend your license.

Obviously some people here don't pay for their own bills.

Fake one is too risky, because they'd get you for insurance fraud if shit went down. Instead, buy an insurance policy, pay the down payment, get your card that will read ' Valid until September 2007 ( Assuming you got it this month ) and let the insurance lapse, in other words, don't pay the bill. lol...

That way if you get pulled over you're legit, you can register at the DMV, since all they do is look at the card, but same thing goes here, DON'T get into an accident.

i'll keep ya posted. It looks a lot better than the janky one my friend used to get her car registered, so I shouldnt have a problem.
