Before I get into this I just wanna clear up for the record I think this kid is trash on the mic. But I am curious to know whatever happened to him. Did he ever drop his Tru York album?

A year or 2 ago I would see his name on message boards, hip hop news, radio interviews & You Tube like every other week. His beef with Dip Set & how he was signed 2 Jay & Snoop was co-signing this weak ass fool. I haven't heard a peep out of him in several months.

What was that story? I did hear he was smashing an Astro Van so that maybe true. I just think he was talentless when it came 2 rapping.

I would hear more about his Dipset beef then about how hot his mixtapes were or when his album was dropping.

I'm not even a Dipset fan but with all of the publicity he was making trying to call them fools out I still see Dipsets making moves & this fool vanished. Maybe beefing with established rappers when ur a mixtape artist worked for 50 & Game but it backfired bigtime with this guy. I hope something works out for this guy. Take away his wasted space in Beef & his fued with Dipset & how much hype would this fool would have had.

Hurrache thought u were an annoying bastard & ma thread about you. So what's ur point.

My point is I'm just curious what happened 2 him cuz he was getting major hype in hip hop news & the web & beefing with industry cats all over NY & now he's prolly working @ Fed Ex Kinkos.

Aint nobody bought Tru York but some mothafuckas up in Lower Eastside Manhatten & Spanish Harlem. I aint heard a peep out of dude since like early 2007.

He was a pathetic excuse for an emcee. Just cuz Jay signed u don't mean ur talented. Jay also signed Memphis Bleek. Snoop co-signing for you automatically strips a person of any street cred they may have had.

The Game shut that nigga Bleek down, He been quiet since 2005. lol I agree about the snoop comment too. snoop is doing music videos and collabing with willie nelson, Everlast and tributes to Johnny Cash so he lightweight smoked his mind away, He went from gangster rapper to country rapper, he'll end up doing a country album next.

Tru Life didnt sell nothing bc that mixtape was free from the jump and it didnt have no kind of buzz. Next niggas gonna say AZZTEC is the greatest bc he was signed to Jay-Z LATIN LABEL also.




One more quick question why wasnt tru life on any of jay-z's albums since he cameback from retirement (Kingdom Come or American Gangsta)

Rapper Prodigy of Mobb deep had made a single with Tru Life and Kool G Rap. Tru Life had made a large payments to Prodigy for a verse to be put on the single. Prodigy made the verse and then went and released the same verse on the Any Given Sunday album. Tru Life retaliated to Mobb Deep by breaking in to a Mobb Deep studio were at the time Havoc and Prodigy were not there. Havoc's younger cousin Sulaman was beaten brutally by Tru Life and almost shot in the head. When the Mobb heard of this they made a call to Lake and Bleek who at the time was in jail. Lake sent out men to harm Tru Life which lead to a member of the group being beaten to death. Charges were held against lake but were denied.


i knew about the beef but didn't know about the death of a member of tru life' clique


does anybody know?

Same thing happened to him that everyone who Jay-Z signs - they get pushed to the back and obscured in his shadow.

Being on Roc A Fella latin or whatever bullshit he was on was not a good look either.
