Before I found out all that, I started to lose faith in Game.
Game was suppose to bring back the west coast (we all know you cant do it alone) but he could have opened up doors for alot of underground artists. The fact he doesnt want to get outshined or even for people to do a background check to see if he's certified shows that. When he first kame out, i expected alot of Bloods and Pirus to be entering the Game.. Especially the ones that did the Bangin on Wax and Damu Ridas and Flamin albums... they put it down for the Red Team.
But instead of shouting out homies, all I heard was Jay Z, Nas, Eazy E... That aint Piru (there's a meaning to it).
But like you, I was a fan, bought all his albums. What made me not like him before I knew alot of the dirt was how he was in person.
He kame to berkeley for an album signing and I went there to go meet him... that muthafucka didnt look like he wanted to be there AT ALL!!! He shouting out "I do this for the fans"... that bitch sat there signing posters (for the college kids that happen to know about it) but there were some true fans that brought their copies of his mixtapes.. older posters, magazines... that kat didnt say shit to anyone, sat there looking like he hated being there, and when you wanted to take a picture, he just sat behind that table and you turned around... so after that, I was like fuk this, I'm out.
Once I started to get hooked up wid alot of the Pirus and Bloods in LA, I started to hear soo much shit about him.. it just made sense.
