man thats some random shit. historically, tarring and feathering someone was basically exiling them from the community. they used hot tar to burn the person, and attached hella feathers and then kicked them out of the village or town. shit was harsh back in the day, ill never understand why people think shit is violent now cause of the media and shit. americans and the world in general were way fucking more violent back in the 1800s. fools used to get stabbed and shot at baseball games like nothing, dead bodies lying in the streets every day.
