Will it be Hyphy, Snap music, Crunk,etc...??? :lick:

HAHA, yeah fucking right. So what I'm trying to say is that OUR generation needs to step their shit up, all current popular Rap music IS NOT going to be oldies. Once that time comes, I bet you anything everyone in their teens & 20's now is going to go back to listening to 90's ish & older. Just ask yourself, what are YOUR parents/grandparents listening to right now, are they listening to crunk, snap, hyphy and all that shit, I HIGHLY doubt it because it's NOT their generation's music. So their most likely listening to their generation's music. So when that time comes in our late 30's,40's, 50's+, and we want to GO BACK to our generation's music because we ain't feeling the current music, are we honestly going to go back to listening to what's out right now? I highly doubt it, just something to think about. I honestly think our generation's music right now is DEAD, it has no soul or purpose. I'm just saying this because when I get older I want to hear MY generation's music for the sake of being proud of my generation's music, but right now it ain't cutting it and I know it ain't going to cut it when I'm 40 or 50. Right now, I think good music stops at 1999 and there's a big ASS gap after that, that has yet to be filled with anything good.

It all depends on the person... but I get what you're trying to say.

But as we get older we shouldn't be ashamed to say we listened to it or deny that was something we didn't do. That's the last thing we need... old people frontin'

I'm not ashamed to say that I don't listen to hyphy music now, and I definitely won't be listening to it twenty years from now...
