How is me posting about Wayne any different than you posting about a rapper you like? How is it dickriding? I NEVER said he was the best ever, I just think he's the best right now until I hear Tips new shit.
1. Nas won the lyrical battle, but Hov wins in the end, that's what I was asking you to clarify.
2. Wayne has guested on Khaled, Fat Joe, Chamillionare, Juelz Santana, Cam'ron, Devin The Dude, etc., etc. He IS definitley a top guest feature.
3. Now to say Wayne's body of work is any near comparable to Jigga's would foolish. AT THIS MOMENT, Wayne is on top his game, he's ready for a battle. I said he's one of the few who at least CAPABLE to giving Jay a good battle. Did u read ANYTHING I posted? Wayne couldn't handle Buck, I like Buck ALOT, but cmon man.
Now only a few clowns have called me a dickrider, but I don't dickride ANY rapper. I said continuosly that Wayne is only the top rapper NOW. Never the best alive at any time, NEVER even in my top 5 favorites. I've even admitted that I think he's probably a homo, and a strange kid at that if not gay. I made a thread about what people thought, and all you wanna b g's jumped on my sack. Please find something excessive dickriding I have done. Any ridiculous statement please. I'm gonna defend my opinion you best believe that, and if people keep bringing up Lil' Wayne in every unreleated thread I post in, I'm still gonna back up my opinion.

I didn't necessarily say I though all of the rappers he's guested for are dope, although I do like Chamillionare, I'm just saying, those are the rappers with big budgets that can afford guests like Wayne.
Too answer your question, just because rap is in a bad state, that doesn't take anything away from Wayne being dope. There are still sick lyricsts out there like The Lox, Joell Ortiz, Mitchy Slick, Bun, Devin, etc., etc. Just because it's not in the public eye doesn't mean they are weak.

And have you ever heard Wayne promote being gay? No? He's most likley not all the way homo either, he's got a few kids and was fuckin Trina for a while but people tend to overlook that. Most of the people on this site who talk down on Wayne say "fuck him, he's gay", nothing about the music, which is what Im all about. If a nigga is a gay or a fake blood or whatever in spare time, let him do him, he's not my idol ( contrary to popular belief ), as long as he keeps putting out quality 16's I'll support.

Very very true about the Master P example, but the thing is Wayne KILLS those guest spots lyrically. If you honestly feel that his lyrical skills aren't up to par, then do you, but I challange you listen to his verses 05-now and tell he hasn't stepped his shit up like crazy.
I personally don't believe he's currently working with ghostwriters, but there is no doubt in my mind that he has worked with Gillie from 02-04. The thing that Wayne's fans like about him is his punchlines and his rhyme structure. That's what rap is supposed to be about. I HATED that 500 Degreez album, hated the first Birdman & Wayne, didn't even like the Carter 1 that much. The thing is, after listening to C2 with basically the same opinion about Wayne that you have now and was completley suprised at how much better he got. And I fuck with Royce too, but Wayne is a better all around artist while Royce might edge him lyrically and flow wise, I'd still bump Carter 2 over Death Is... or Independance Day ( my favorite Royce cd ).
